The Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with Actuarial Science Option is housed within the College of Natural and Health Sciences. The curriculum provides students with a background in financial theory, business knowledge, mathematical and statistical skills that prepares them for a career in the insurance industry.

- Business-related applications of statistical analysis and financial risk evaluation.
- Use mathematics, statistics and financial theory to study the uncertainty of events, analyze the financial consequences of risk, evaluate the likelihood of future events, decrease the impact of undesirable events and manage the financial risk for an organization.
