Beginning January 25, in-person campus tours are offered Monday-Thursday at 9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM.

Schedule a virtual meeting with our trained Admissions Staff to learn more about our campus and programs, and find the answers to all of your questions about ATU. Any interested students and parents are welcome to schedule a virtual appointment.




We all play a role in reducing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance to ATU Pandemic Recovery Framework, all employees, students, and guests on campus are expected to practice social distancing and follow COVID-19 safety procedures to ensure the health of everyone. The ATU Admissions Office reserves the right to turn away any persons who do not adhere to ATU's COVID-19 policies and procedures.

Face Masks

All guests are required to wear face masks when visiting campus and for the duration of the campus tour. Masks must be worn correctly, covering the mouth and nose. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you by the Admissions Office. If you elect to not wear a mask, you will be unable to join the tour group.

Health Screening Questionnaire

In order to protect the health of the ATU community, all campus visitors are required to submit a Health Screening Questionnaire. This questionnaire is to be completed one day before your scheduled campus tour. If you have other persons accompanying you as guests on the tour, please complete the questionnaire on their behalf as well. One (1) questionnaire is to be submitted per party. Campus visitors who have not submitted a completed questionnaire will be asked to do so before they can join the campus tour.

How many people will be on the tour?

In order to practice social distancing, our maximum capacity for a campus tour is ten (10) persons.

Can I bring guests to accompany me on the tour?

Yes, each student registered for a regular in-person campus tour is permitted to bring up to two (2) guests. For private campus tours, the student is permitted to bring up to four (4) guests.

What is the check-in process?

Check-in will begin ten (10) minutes before your scheduled tour time. If you arrive early, please wait in your car in Visitor Parking. As you enter the Brown Building, the Admissions staff will greet you at the Check-in Station in the lobby and take your temperature. Please do not walk around outdoors to elevate your temperature prior to check-in, so that the Admissions staff can get an accurate reading. From there you will be guided to the Tour Room where you and your guest(s) will have a designated seating area spaced six (6) feet from any other guests on the tour.

Is this a walking tour?

Yes, our campus tours are traditionally walking tours. For the comfort of our guests, frequent breaks during the tour and bottled water will be available. No golf cart tours will be offered at this time to ensure proper social distancing.

Can I schedule an appointment with an academic department or other office?

Due to altered office schedules and COVID-19 protocol, we are unable to schedule appointments with other departments at this time, but we are happy to answer any questions we can and provide you with the department’s contact information.

Will the tour route show inside residence halls/dorms?

Residence halls are closed to campus visitors at this time. The tour route will show the exteriors of a variety of residence halls. You may schedule a virtual housing tour and view 360 videos of residence hall rooms by visiting the Residence Life website.

What do I do if I've been exposed to COVID-19?

If you or anyone in your household has been exposed or tested positive for the COVID-19 virus in the last fourteen (14) days, please seek official CDC guidance on self-isolation and do not come to the ATU campus.

What do I do if I need to cancel or reschedule my tour?

Visitor Parking is available on West O Street by the RCB Brown Student Services Building (#54 on the Campus Map). Caution: there is a residence hall on campus also named Brown Hall. Please be sure to enter the correct address in your GPS: 105 West O Street, Russellville, AR 72801.

Arkansas Tech University will continue to monitor the CDC and state government for guidance related to COVID-19. Please be aware that campus tours are subject to cancellation for reasons related to COVID-19. You will be notified by email and text if your tour date has been canceled because of COVID-19.

This preview event is reserved for high school seniors only. It will be hosted in-person on the ATU campus, contingent upon COVID-19. Students will register for the date that corresponds to their academic program of interest. Due to capacity limitations, a student may only register for one (1) day and are permitted to have one (1) guest to accompany them
