First-Time Freshmen
-
Getting Started
Access your OneTech account for the first time. OneTech is where you will access several enrollment items throughout this process.
Your Admissions Blueprint book will have your OneTech username and T# included. You'll need those to activate your account.
-
Visit Campus
Getting to know your college of choice is important. Through in-person or digital events and tours, we'll work with you to find your best fit at ATU.
Ways to Visit:
- Attend a Saturday Showcase
- Attend Time Out For Tech
- Attend Admitted2ATU
- Schedule a Campus Tour
- Attend a Zoom2ATU Virtual Tour
-
Apply for Extra Scholarships
At ATU, your Admissions application acts as your academic scholarship application - but that shouldn't stop you from applying for more grants and scholarships. Visit our scholarships website to look over your funding options outside of university academic scholarships. You can browse private scholarships through the ATU Foundation, ROTC scholarships, scholarships from outside ATU, and other funding sources.
-
Apply for Housing
If you are planning to live on campus, your next step is applying for Housing. If you are not, and you qualify to live off campus, you may submit a Housing exemption. Both actions are done through the Housing portal in your OneTech account.
-
Schedule an Advising Appointment
Starting in January, you will be able to begin choosing your date for your advising session. At the session, you will learn more about campus life and academics, and make your Fall schedule. You will be emailed when it is your turn to schedule your appointment.
-
Get Your Tech ID
Once you've registered for TechAdvise or registered for classes, go ahead and submit your photo and request your ATU Student ID so it's ready for you by move-in day.
-
Pay Your Housing Deposit, Choose Your Residence Hall & Meal Plan
You will be notified when it will be your turn to choose your Residence Hall. Check the Housing portal in OneTech for updates.
-
Reserve Your Post Office Box
If you're living on campus, reserve your Post Office Box to receive mail and deliveries to campus.
-
Submit Final Documents
The summer after you graduate is the time to send us your final high school transcripts, AP scores, and transcripts for college concurrent credit. Your high school counselor or the college or university you received previous credit from can help you with this step.
-
Move In and Welcome Week
It's finally here - your first week at ATU. Orientation runs your entire first week, from Move In Day to the end of your first week of class. You'll learn everything you need to know to have a great first year at ATU. Meet new people, make new friends, and find new clubs and organizations to get involved with. Making friends has never been so easy.
