These options include Animal Science, Horticulture, Feed Mill Management, Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Public Relations. These choices provide you the opportunity to explore the many prospects available in the dynamic agriculture industry. Whether your interests lie in production agriculture or the business of the livestock, horticulture, feed milling, pre-veterinarian medicine or public relations, Tech has a program for you!
The Animal Science option is able to draw on the real-world experiences of our faculty members. In addition to utilizing our talented faculty and staff, you will make full use of the many classrooms and teaching laboratories found in Dean Hall, the farm classroom and our extensive Outdoor Learning Laboratory located on three sides of the ATU campus. Hands-on experience working with our fully operational beef and swine herds helps to prepare you for exciting careers in animal production management, pharmaceutical sales and development, as well as giving students a solid base to continue their education at the graduate level in animal science.
