Admission Procedures for International Students

We are glad that you are interested in applying for admission to Arkansas Tech University.  Any student who is not a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident of the U.S. is considered an international student. In order to apply for admission to Arkansas Tech University, international students should submit documentation specific to their degree intent. Please select the appropriate category below for admission requirements:

Undergraduate Applicants (First-Year Students)
Applicants are persons that have completed, or are about to complete, their secondary school or high school education and who have not yet attended any college or university.

Graduate Applicants
Applicants are persons who have completed an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year college or university and wish to purse a Masters degree.

Undergraduate Transfer Applicants
Undergraduate Transfer applicants are persons who have completed some academic work at an accredited college or university, after graduating from secondary or high school, and wish to transfer to Arkansas Tech University.

Graduate Transfer Applicants
Graduate Transfer applicants are persons who have completed some academic work towards a Masters degree at an accredited college or university after graduating from an accredited college or university, and wish to transfer to Arkansas Tech University.

Age Requirement Information:
All international applicants must be 18 years of age by October 1 for fall semester intake. Applicants for spring semester intake must be 18 years of age by February 1. Please do not submit an application for admission for a term in which you do not meet the age requirements. Application fees will not be refunded.
