Dr. Sarah GordonDean of Research and Graduate StudiesResearch and Graduate Studies Dr. Gordon is the Interim Dean of the Research and Graduate Studies Her primary area
of expertise is Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics (REMS). Dr.
Gordon worked for eight years in Student Affairs at Oklahoma State University and
served for three years OSU's Director of University Assessment and Testing. RESEARCH
INTERESTS Dr. Gordon's research interests include perceptions of evaluation and assessment
in P-12 and higher education, general education assessment, and diversity as a concept
and learning outcome.
Michan ChowritmootooGraduate Student Support Services CoordinatorResearch and Graduate Studies Michan joined the ATU family in Oct of 2021. She has over ten years experience in
higher education with over 8 years experience working with graduate students. Michan
recently relocated to Arkansas from Knoxville TN. Her roles include: Degree Audits,
Graduate Candidacy, Graduate Reader for Dissertations and Theses, and Co-advisor

Samantha MeeksCoordinator of Graduate RecruitmentResearch and Graduate StudiesSamantha graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2013 with her BA in English Education and
2015 with her MA in English. She is currently working on her Ph.D. and has returned
to help recruit Arkansas Tech's future graduate students. Her interests include reading
and studying 18th and 19th century British literature, and, of course, helping students

Tanessa RobinsonAdmin Assistant Research and Graduate StudiesTanessa joined the ATU family in July of 2023. She comes to us with a wealth of knowledge,
she has 20+ years in the administrative/clerical field. She has lived at the foothills
of the Ozark National Forest most of her life in northern Johnson and northern Pope
counties. Her oldest son is attending ATU this Fall 2023 and her youngest son is attending
ATU Vo-tech for building trades this 2023-2024 school year. Tanessa is also planning
continuing her higher education at ATU.
