Professor of Astrophysics, and Director of the Astronomical Observatory, Dr. Robertson joined the ATU faculty in 1997 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2002 and Professor in 2008. He received the ATU Faculty Award of Excellence for Teaching in 2003 and served as Department Head of Physical Sciences from 2005-2011 and now as Dean of the College of Natural and Health Sciences. He was Interim Dean of the College of Business during 2016-2017. Robertson has twice been the President of the Arkansas Academy of Science and currently serves as a peer review corps member for the Higher Learning Commission and on the Board for the National Conference of Academic Deans. His research pursuits include automation of astronomical observatories, observation and modeling of interacting binary stars, and astrometry of hazardous asteroids.  Dogs, Stella and Cosmo, of course.

Danielle, originally from Muskogee, OK, moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2014. Danielle is currently pursuing a master’s degree in College Student Personnel with an anticipated graduation date of December 2018. As Interim Coordinator of Graduate Student Support Services in the Graduate College department, she coordinates the publication process for master’s theses and doctoral dissertations, plans events and trainings for graduate students and graduate assistants, and leads recruitment efforts for graduate programs along with other projects. Danielle currently resides in Russellville with her dog Maggie.

Jill began working in the ATU Graduate College in 2006. She has aided the office in system updates and evolving initiatives which improve the application experience for students. As the primary admission specialist, Jill is often the first contact students have with our Graduate College. She currently resides in Russellville with her puppy Sadie.

Cindy joined the Graduate College staff in the summer of 2015. She manages incoming applications for graduate admissions, international admissions, and other special projects. Cindy has worked in the higher education environment for several years. Cindy currently resides in Perryville with her husband Kelly and 6 year old puppy Dixie.

Amee joined the Arkansas Tech family in February 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History in May 2005 and is currently working towards pursuing her Masters in Liberal Arts at Arkansas Tech University. As an administrative specialist in the Graduate College, she assists in overseeing graduate assistants, program curriculum, the graduate catalog, and various administrative tasks. She currently resides in Russellville with her boyfriend, daughter, and five dogs.

Jocelyn, originally from Fayetteville, AR, moved to Russellville in the fall of 2012. Jocelyn graduated from Arkansas Tech University in the fall of 2016 with a Bachelor of Art in Speech Communications. Currently, she is pursuing a master’s degree in College Student Personnel and aspires to become a university president one day. As a graduate assistant in the Graduate College, she assists with university recruitment, social media management, data research, and administrative tasks.

Maddie, originally from Fayetteville, AR, moved to Russellville in 2012 to begin her undergraduate studies at Arkansas Tech. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in December 2016.
