Intercultural Understanding: Germany

Intercultural Understanding: Germany

Frankfurt Stock Exchange

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Intercultural Understanding program will provide ATU students the opportunity to connect with students at THM, our partner university in Germany, both virtually and in person.

In the first part of the program, students in both schools will engage in an online simulation where they will need to negotiate in the mutual allocation of a donated resource between them. The objective is to build a framework in which both parties benefit from the resource and act within the donor's requirements.

In the second part of the program, students from ATU will travel to Germany to visit the THM campus and physically interact with the students that they met virtually. This involves travelling throughout Germany and visiting several sites such as the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, the European Central Bank, and several sites in Munich
