Dr. Jessica Young

ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

EDUCATION HISTORY

  • BS-Henderson State University
  • MS-University of Arkansas
  • PHD-University of Arkansas

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Young's primary area of research interest is in fundamental laser physics including laser beam shaping and polarization and propagation characteristics of Gaussian laser beams. Education research interests include bridging the gap between physics courses (taught by a physicist) and engineering courses (taught by an engineer) and program assessment.
