The Health Information Technology (HIT) program provides students with the skills and competencies in health data management, information policy, information systems, and administrative and clinical work flow critical to function in an electronic environment.
The Health Information Technology accreditor of Arkansas Tech University is the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). The College’s accreditation for associate degree in Health Information Technology has been reaffirmed through 2030.
