First-Generation Student Organization
The First-Gen Student Organization aims to provide support and community to all First-Generation
students and contribute opportunities to seek their own success at Arkansas Tech University.
Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) recognizes the academic excellence of first-generation
college students. We provide a national community of support, mentorship, and distinction
for those who are the first in their families to pave the way.
National First-Generation Student Celebration Week
Arkansas Tech University is excited to join in the National Celebration of First Generation College Student Celebration Week each year in November. Be on the lookout for more information about how we'll be celebrating this year and ways you can join in the celebration as a first-gen student, first-gen graduate or first-gen supporter!
National First-Generation Celebration Week will be held November 2-7, 2026 at Arkansas Tech University.
