Intramural Sports are offered throughout the fall and spring terms for currently enrolled Arkansas Tech students and faculty/staff members who possess a Campus Recreation Center membership.

In applicable intramural sports, student officials are provided. These student officials are sport specific trained by staff in Campus Recreation. Participants are expected to show sportsmanship and respect to all officials at all times.
Each intramural sport has sport specific rules and regulations. These are made available to team captains and participants prior to the start of each sport season.
Disruptive behavior, profanity, or unsafe play may result in removal from intramural sport participation.
Outdoor fields used for intramural softball and flag football. Open for student use when games are not in session. Features multiple grass fields with lighting for evening play. Intramural leagues have priority during scheduled times.
Indoor courts used for intramural basketball, dodgeball, volleyball, and weekly Tuesday tournaments. Courts are open for student use when intramural activities are not in session. Features multiple courts with hardwood flooring and space for both competitive and recreational play. Intramural leagues and events have priority during scheduled times.
Outdoor pickleball courts located next to the Jones sand volleyball pit. Open for student use and recreational play on a first come, first serve basis. Provides a dedicated space for pickleball in a convenient campus location.
Sand volleyball courts located near the Hughes and Jones residence halls. Open for student use and casual play when not in use for events. Features multiple sand courts in a convenient location for students living on campus.
Space usage is determined by the programmatic schedule set by Campus Recreation and related university departments, as well as approved events.
When not in official use, this space is available to current Arkansas Tech University students for recreational play and practice consistent with the intended purpose of the facility. All university policies and procedures apply at all times.

All participants must create an account on IMLeagues or the ATU Rec app before they can join or create a team roster. Participants must create the account with their ATU email and must use their Tech I.D. as their student I.D.
Most events are divided into Men's, Women's and/or Co-Rec leagues.
The overall top 16 teams will be entered into a 16 team single elimination tournament to determine the overall campus champion for that sport. The teams are ranked based on sportsmanship, win/loss record, points against, and points for during the season. The Office of Campus Recreation reserves the right to modify the tournament bracket due to team numbers, inclement weather, or other reasons deemed necessary.
Participation in intramural activities not only enhances and improves quality of life, but also provides individuals with an enjoyable recreational experience while developing life skills, social relationships, and sportsmanship. The NIRSA Championship Series allows intramural and club teams to compete at the national level. Arkansas Tech University competes in NIRSA Region IV, which includes Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
