Requirements & Process
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS
- Cumulative college GPA of 2.0;
- Eligible for re-enrollment at the last institution attended.

Start the Transfer Process
If you have fewer than 24 college credit hours, then we also need your final official high school transcript and test scores (ACT, SAT or ACCUPLACER). You may need to contact your high school and request they send these to us.

Newly admitted transfer and returning students with more than 60 earned hours should contact their respective academic department to schedule an advising/registration appointment. Find your department contact information.
Students who plan to live with their parent or legal guardian in their permanent home within a 30-mile radius of Arkansas Tech University must complete and submit a Commuter Request Form through the housing portal.
Other exemptions may be granted by Residence Life. See the Residence Life Exemption Request Form through the housing portal for the specific exemption criteria.
