ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSFER STUDENTS

If you do not meet the requirements for unconditional admittance or if you need further details on any of the information above, email the Office of Admissions at tech.enroll@atu.edu. You may also reach us by phone at 800-582-6953 or (479) 968-0343.

Start the Transfer Process

Send ATU your official transcript from all colleges/universities where you’ve been enrolled. You can request your previous school(s) send us your official transcript(s) electronically to admissions@atu.edu or mailed.

If you have fewer than 24 college credit hours, we also need your final official high school transcript and ACT/SAT test scores. You may need to contact your high school and request they send these to us.

Apply for Transfer Scholarships. The deadline for Spring is December 1. The deadline for Fall is April 1.

You will be notified in writing of the decision regarding your transfer admission.

Activate your OneTech student portal account. Your student information and activation instructions will be included in the mailed admission letter.

Complete the 2019-2020 FAFSA or update your current FAFSA to include Arkansas Tech University.

Newly admitted transfer and returning students with less than 60 earned hours or are undeclared or any student who needs additional guidance in selecting a major should call or visit the Academic Advising Center (479-964-0850, Rothwell 107) to schedule an advising/registration appointment beginning December 5 for Spring 2020 classes. Newly admitted transfer and returning students with a declared major should contact their respective academic department to schedule an advising/registration appointment. Find your department contact information.

If you are under 21 years of age and have less than 60 credit hours, then you are required to live on campus. The housing application can be submitted through OneTech.
