This workshop will bring together teams of three to five faculty members and administrators from institutions interested in institutionalizing existing research activities and in developing research-rich curricula to support those goals. Application deadline is September 10, 2019.

This conference features presentations by students from Research Experiences for Undergraduates programs (REUs) in all disciplines funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), sessions for REU administrators and faculty, and opportunities to meet with representatives from NSF and other government agencies. Applications will open in summer 2019.

This institute will assist campus-based teams in developing transformative opportunities for undergraduate research, scholarship, and creativity (URSC) in the arts and humanities. The goal of the institute is to inform participants about current research on learning outcomes for students engaging in URSC. Application deadline is October 1, 2019.

Stetson University, DeLand, FL

The goal of the institute is to give individual, pre-tenured faculty members the opportunity to learn from and discuss with experienced faculty how to establish and manage a research program with undergraduates. While at the institute, participants will also prepare plans for starting and/or advancing their individual research programs at their respective campuses. A range of topics will be covered during the institute that show ways to achieve career success in undergraduate research. Application deadline is October 15, 2019.

This institute is designed for campuses that are establishing undergraduate research (UR) programs or centralized undergraduate research offices and those expanding undergraduate research opportunities from a single department to a campus-wide program. Application deadline is October 1, 2019.

February 13-15, 2020
Crystal Gateway Marriott, Arlington, VA

This conference is designed to bring faculty and administrators to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to interact with federal agency program officers and other grant funders. Attendees will also have the chance to engage in several networking opportunities. Registration will open in early to mid fall 2019.

This National Conference is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study for students. The call for abstract submittals will open October 2019, and the application deadline will close in early December 2019.
