WHY THM GIESSEN? Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences, established in 1971, offers programs that closely connect science and practical applications. It is the third largest University of Applied Sciences in Germany. More than ten percent of our students enrolled come from abroad. Well over 50 master and bachelor degree courses cover a wide range of subjects. Classical engineering disciplines, such as civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, are offered as well as future-oriented interdisciplinary programs, including energy systems, biotechnology, medical engineering, hospital hygiene, railway systems, media engineering, business administration, and computer science. WHY JLU?

Justus-Liebig University is the oldest university in it's region of Hesse, founded in 1607. JLU offers a broad range of courses taught in English and German. It has approximately 28,000 students between 11 departments and 90 courses of study. The city of Giessen has the highest student density in Germany, so it is packed with activities geared towards students. The city is located in a great central location that is not far from Frankfurt!

LOCATION: Landshut, Germany
