Peer Health Advocate Program

The ATU Health and Wellness Center, created the peer health advocate (PHA) program to provide students with the opportunity to discuss the transition to college and alleviate any struggles that may come with student life. Peer Health Advocates can be more relatable to students and are trained to help students with personal, professional, social, and academic issues.

Book a listening session with a peer health advocate

If you want to talk to one of our PHAs, you can book a listening session by calling 479-968-0329 or email us at hwc@atu.edu.

Snacks and Stories

If a group setting is more your style, you can attend Snacks and Stories at the Health and Wellness Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM (drop in). This is a fun way to meet and interact with peers in a low-pressure setting. Free drinks, snacks, board games, prizes, and other fun activities are provided.
