This scholarship, established by Dr. Rebecca Callaway in honor of her parents, Arthur P. and Daisy W. Callaway, is to benefit a traditional undergraduate student who graduated from an Arkansas high school. Preference will be given to a first generation college student. The recipient must be a senior classification student seeking teacher certification in middle or secondary education and is completing his/her internship during the semester of the award. Recipient must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0, and submit two letters of recommendation from professionals within the student’s major content area.
