TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is an academic support program for students are first-generation*, low-income, and or students with disabilities. Arkansas Tech University Ozark Campus is funded in total (100%) by federal grant funding from the U.S. Department of Education with an annual budget of $261,888 to serve 140 students. The mission of the program is to assist and retain eligible students in the pursuit of an associate degree,  assist in the transfer to a 4-year institution, and ensure good academic standing of the participants they serve.  

*First-generation means the student's parents did not receive a 4-year degree.
