Band of Distinction - Member for a Day Form

ATU BAND MEMBER FOR A DAY 2025

>>> Here is a good idea of what you can expect your day to look like at Member for a Day:

9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

- - - Rehearsal with the Arkansas Band of Distinction (ABD) at Thone Stadium on the Tech Campus (weather appropriate, casual, athletic clothing is recommended).

10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

- - - Complimentary lunch will be provided by the ATU Office of Admissions, Academic Affairs, and the College of Arts and Humanities to the first 500 registrants (all participants will be sorted into 3 smaller groups to prevent long lines in the cafeteria).
    - Campus Tours.
    - Academic Fair, tailgating games, and music on the campus quad.

12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

- - - Meet the Tech Band at Nutt Residence Hall for the traditional pre-game warm up, march to the stadium, and pre-game performances.

2:00 p.m. – Kickoff! GO TECH!

- - - You will sit in the stands with us and play throughout the game - including a stand still halftime performance with the ABD! The game should finish at approximately 5:00 p.m.

>>> Music for Member for a Day 2025 will be available Wednesday, October 1 (*Click Here to see music from 2024 Member for a Day).

>>> Attendees will be responsible for bringing their own instruments to Member for a Day.

>>> Drum majors are more than welcome to bring their own ladder or podium.
