Results by Learning Outcome

The following charts show the results of each individual learning outcome from highest passing rate by program. See the data for all learning outcomes here.

Having the highest overall passing rate average of all outcomes (91%), "Demonstrate Knowledge of the Arts and Humanities", was assessed by six departments: Music, Art, Journalism, Theater, Sociology, and English.

The outcome, "Communicate Effectively", had an average passing rate of 87%. This outcome was assessed by nine departments: Journalism, Agricultural Business, Communication, American Studies, Art, English, Philosophy, History, and Political Science.

The average passing rate for the outcome, "Develop Ethical Perspectives", was 85%. This outcome was assessed by ten programs: Journalism, Communication, Anthropology, Psychology, English, Sociology, American Studies, History, Political Science, and Philosophy.

The outcome, "Think Critically", was assessed by the most programs (17 out of 20) and had an average passing rate of 82%. Programs assessing: Journalism, Agricultural Business, Communication, American Studies, Art, English, Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, Environmental Science, History, Political Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, and Physical Science.

The outcome, "Apply Scientific Reasoning", had an average passing rate of 77%. This outcome was assessed by ten departments: Psychology, Anthropology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geology, Biology, History, Physical Science, Political Science, and Philosophy.

Assessed by the fewest programs (Agricultural Business, Psychology, Anthropology, and Mathematics), the outcome, "Apply Quantitative Reasoning", had an average passing rate of 75%.
