Student organizations play a major role in the School of Business at Arkansas Tech University. These organizations give students an opportunity to expand and enhance their educational experience and improve their social life.


Established in 1961, the Arkansas Tech University Accounting Club has a long history of fellowship and commitment to the accounting majors of this college. To join this club, you must be an Accounting major and pay a $20 fee each semester.  For more information contact

Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.


This organization offers students in the College of Business and Economic Development an opportunity to excel in their leadership development through self-exploration and assessment of strengths. The Business Student Leadership Council offers opportunities for professional development and networking, as well as participation in College of Business and Economic Development events and a service project outside of the institution. This experience allows students to hone their skills in order to become a leader within the college, community and beyond offering a competitive advantage when launching a career.  


Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate is a nationwide academic organization for college students interested in business or business-related disciplines. ATU FBLA-C is dedicated to creating community-minded business leaders through service, competitive events, and introducing students to professionals in the many facets of the business field. SHIMA is an organization at Arkansas Tech University for students who are majoring in Health Information Management. This organization helps students understand the responsibilities associated with the role of the Health Information Manager, become familiar with the functions of the state and national professional associations, and promotes the Health Information Management Association at Arkansas Tech University.
