  1. Drawn on a U.S. Bank
  2. Contain a U.S. Bank's 9-digit routing number in the lower left corner
  3. Denote USD or US Dollars
  4. Written and numeric amounts must be the same
  5. All but personal checks, must be imprinted, NOT handwritten
