Spark Tank is Arkansas Tech University’s student pitch competition designed to encourage entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative problem-solving while connecting ATU students with business and community leaders. Presented by the ATU Center for Community Engagement and Academic Outreach (CCEAO) and Co-Create Innovation Hub, Spark Tank gives currently enrolled Arkansas Tech University students the opportunity to turn an idea into a compelling 90-second business or nonprofit pitch.
Students compete in for-profit and nonprofit categories, presenting innovative business ideas, products, services, or solutions to a panel of community and industry leaders. Participants gain valuable experience communicating their ideas, receive exposure to experienced professionals, build entrepreneurial skills, and compete for cash prizes of up to $500.
Spark Tank is about more than competition. It creates a space where ATU students, faculty, entrepreneurs, industry partners, and the Russellville community can come together to support new ideas and strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Whether an idea is ready to launch or is simply the beginning of something bigger, Spark Tank gives students a place to start.
