Degrees and Programs
The Department of Emergency Management, Professional Studies, and Student Affairs Administration offer both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees with options to complete both on campus and through distance education, while also giving students the opportunity for an accelerated path to education.
Emergency Management
Bachelor of Science in Emergency Management
In this program, students will explore emergency planning and preparedness, cultural considerations and natural human behavior, appropriate responses, political and legal applications within the field, and ethical foundations for emergency management professionals.
Master of Science in Emergency Management & Homeland Security
This curriculum is designed for existing career professionals in the field and those seeking the academic foundation on which to build a career or pursue a doctorate.

This curriculum provides students with comprehensive, specialized instruction in the application of leadership concepts highly sought after by employers across a wide variety of settings and career paths.
This program is designed to provide students who have earned an Associate of Applied Science degree a seamless transition to the online Bachelor of Applied Science degree.
