The ATU Campus Council shall serve as the central body for shared decision-making
among the
governance groups representing faculty, staff, & students at Arkansas Tech University
(ATU). Its
primary role is to serve as an advisory body on all matters not reserved to the sole
jurisdiction of the
Faculty Senate, Staff Senate, and Student Government Association.
Meetings & Transparency
The Campus Council values the participation of the ATU community. Our sessions are open to all faculty, staff, and students who wish to stay informed on shared governance.
Meeting Schedule
The Council convenes at least quarterly, typically during the weeks preceding each ATU Board of Trustees meeting. This timing ensures coordinated advisory input from all governance groups prior to Board sessions.
