Welcome Commuter Students!
Commuter Student Services is committed to providing support services to help facilitate commuter student success and foster a connection to the Arkansas Tech University community. Our goal is to ensure that the unique needs of commuter students are acknowledged and addressed by our campus community. In conjunction with OnTrack, we provide quality programming and support to students who don't live on campus.
The commuter lounge provides a home away from home for all of our students who do not live on campus. Located on the 2nd floor of Doc Bryan Student Services Building, the commuter lounge provides a space for our off-campus students to hang out, study, store their belongings and eat lunch. Check out the resources and benefits available:
- Computers
- TV and lounge area
- Lockers
- Refrigerator
- Keurig Coffee Maker (students provide own coffee)
- Microwave
- Message board to connect students to campus activities
- Programming throughout the year
Treat Tuesdays are designed to help connect commuter students with campus resources and programs while building networking skills.
Stop by the Commuter Lounge from 11:30am -1:30pm on the first Tuesday of each month to pick up a treat, chat with other commuter students and learn about campus resources that will help you on your journey to success.

Commuter Student Coffee Breaks are designed as a resource for students to meet with different staff around campus, while also getting a free coffee and pastry of their choice from a local coffee shop. Fall 2020 is the first semester to try this virtually and we have a great list of staff ready to meet their students!
