PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Travel to Ottawa and Montréal to experience a case study in human relationships, political discourse, modes of storytelling, and the cultivation of empathy through the lens of music. Uncover a rich history of musical creativity, community, and innovation across cultures and time periods

Explore the Canadian mosaic firsthand through an immersive experience on an Indigenous reservation, as well as visits to Parliament and the Canadian Museum of History, and absorb the rich cultural landscape of these historic cities.

Day 1: Depart from US 

Day 2: Guided visit of the Canadian Museum of Natural History Indigenous Exhibit 

Day 3: Tour of Candian Parliament, Evening Concert 

Day 4: Tour of Montréal  

Day 5: Guided visit to Kahnawake Mohawk Territory 

Day 6: Hike of Mount Royal Park 

Day 7: Guided Tour of Old Montréal

Day 8: Return to US

ACTIVITY LEVEL

Light/Moderate: Participants should expect to spend multiple hours each day engaging in physical activity such as hiking.
