Student Employment

All positions are filled at this time.

Thank you for your interest in working at the Ozark Campus Library!

The library hires both work study students and students without work study awards. Students will help out in the Ozark campus library, as well as in the Alvin F. Vest Student Union computer lab.

Student workers will be expected to assist library patrons in borrowing library materials and in using the computers, photocopier and printers. Other duties include assisting patrons with research, shelving library materials, shelf reading (checking that books/DVDS...are in the correct order on the shelves), and maintaining a quiet, helpful, and friendly atmosphere.

A student typically works between 5 and 20 hours per week. A student worker may work a maximum of 28 hours per week.

Student workers are hired not only for their qualifications for the job, but also for the available hours they have for employment. In addition, hiring is based on the type of funding the library has at any given time throughout the year.

To apply for a position, please fill out the application and bring it, along with a current class schedule, to the Ozark Campus Library desk or email to kmoore36@atu.edu
