The Health Sciences area provides students the flexibility to utilize multiple disciplinary
training options in a variety of technical fields.
Students earning the Technical Certificate in Health Professions may go directly into
the healthcare support workforce as nursing assistants, emergency medical technicians,
community health workers or phlebotomists (depending on option chosen); or continue
on for advanced training and education. Students successfully completing the Health
Professions program may continue on to pursue an Associate of General Studies and
Bachelor of Professional Studies.
