ARkansas BlueCross Blueshield Changes In-Network Affiliated Provider

 

The Arkansas Tech University Human Resources department would like to inform you of an important change to our health insurance coverage. Effective September 1, 2026, Arkansas Blue Cross will no longer be in-network with CHI St. Vincent's Hospital and its affiliated providers. 

If you currently receive care at CHI St. Vincent's, you have options:

Option 1: Request Continuity of Care Coverage
If you're currently being treated at CHI St. Vincent's, you may be eligible to continue treatment with your current provider under continuity of care coverage for up to 90 days or until your treatment ends. To request this:

1. Complete the "Request for Continuity of Care" form (click here to access form)
2. Submit it by fax to 501-301-1993, Attention: Clinical Review, OR email to clinicalresearchteam@arkbluecross.com
3. Have your physician complete the form to expedite the request
4. Submit a separate form for each family member requesting coverage

Option 2: Find In-Network Providers
To transition to an in-network provider:

1. Search for in-network providers using the Arkansas Blue Cross provider directory here: in-network providers
2. Find alternative in-network healthcare facilities and specialists in your area
3. Contact your healthcare providers to discuss transitioning your care before September 1st
