To support the university mission, vision statement and strategic plan, the ATU Budget Advisory Committee was formed in spring 2017 to engage and promote transparency in the university budgeting process. 

Purpose

The Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) is advisory in nature, providing a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas regarding budgetary practices, policies, priorities, and reporting. Discussions and perspectives shared by the committee may provide information and insight to the president in the development of the annual budget and appropriation request to the Board of Trustees.

Charge

The BAC will provide a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas regarding central university budgeting issues, including revenues, expenditures, budget priorities and other matters affecting university operations. The committee’s discussions may provide perspectives and information to support consideration of short-term and long-term budgetary priorities.
