University Honors-Living Learning Community

The Honors LLC helps students maintain a sense of community and enhance personal learning skills where they live while also engaging their minds in honors courses that are conscientiously designed to augment critical thinking skills.

HONR 1003 (fall), HIST 1543 (fall), and ENGL 2183 (spring) are some of the required courses in the University Honors curriculum. However, this living learning community provides students with the unique opportunity to engage in learning inside and outside of the classroom with students who have common interest. There are a total of 21 hours required for students in the program, plus mentoring teams, a community service requirement, and a Senior Honors Project.
