PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Dr. Carballo's research interests are Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century Latin American Literature with a major emphasis in cultural, gender representation, transatlantic and performance studies as well as Late Twentieth-Century Dictatorship and Human Rights Literature with a major emphasis in theatre, novel, and film productions.
