The TOEFL iBT® test measures the ability of non-native English speakers to communicate in English in an academic setting. It accurately measures how well test takers can read, listen, speak and write in English in the college or university classroom. And it evaluates how well they combine their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills to perform academic task. The TOEFL iBT test consists of four sections in the following order: Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing.

Examinees must register for the exam and pay any associated fees at the TOEFL registration portal.
