Registration for First-time Entering Freshmen

First-Time Entering Freshmen registration will occur beginning December 11.

NOTE: The date above applies to full-term courses.


Registration for first-time entering freshmen is a simple and informative process that takes place in the Academic Advising Center located in Rothwell 107.

Scheduling your freshman academic advising appointment for registration in Summer and Fall classes is as easy as 1-2-3!

Step 1

Apply online for admission to the university, and you can visit the Tech Office of Admissions, Brown Hall, Suite 104 to submit all required admission documents.

Step 2

As soon as your admission documents are received in the Admissions Office, all first-time entering freshmen will be mailed a separate letter of invitation to schedule an advising appointment for registration.

Step 3

During your advising/registration appointment, you will meet with an academic advisor, have your questions answered, receive a demonstration of the features of your OneTech account, and register in your Summer and Fall classes. Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Residence Life staff will also be available.

After registering for classes, first-time freshmen should contact an academic advisor in the Academic Advising Center, Rothwell 107, for assistance with adding, dropping, or changing classes, or withdrawing from school.
