Summer 2021 Commencement 

Tucker Coliseum

Saturday, August 7, 2021 
10:00 A.M. Ceremony

This ceremony includes all candidates who have completed all degree requirements at the conclusion of the summer term at both the Russellville and Ozark campuses.
 
Due to health and safety concerns all guests (over the age of 3 years) who attend the commencement ceremony will be required to have a ticket for entry to the coliseum. There will be no exceptions. All tickets are general admission; seats will not be assigned. Face coverings are recommended. The ceremony will be live-streamed for those unable to attend.
 

Please note that it might be necessary to print off tickets for your guests or share via mobile device.  Ushers will be on hand to check tickets the day of the ceremony, so please remind guests to bring their ticket or show the ticket on their mobile device.  Doors to the coliseum will open at 9:00a.m.

Students can access their six (6) guest tickets by following the steps provided in the email sent to their ATU email address from graduation@atu.edu.


Ceremony Participation Policy
Students must have completed all degree requirements prior to the ceremony to be allowed to participate; those with requirements still outstanding at the time of graduation may request to participate in the next scheduled ceremony, provided all degree requirements have been met.

Candidates for summer 2021 graduation who have been approved to take a course at another institution during their last 30 hours must submit official transcripts to the Registrar’s Office by Wednesday, August 4.

Participation in commencement is required of all degree candidates, except in cases involving hardship. Students may officially petition in writing to the Office of Academic Affairs that the degree be awarded in absentia. Petitions should include your T-Number, the reason you will be unable to attend the ceremony, your current mailing address, and the address to which your diploma should be mailed.

Petitions for absentia should be directed to the Office of Academic Affairs.
