OZARK CAMPUS WALKING TRAIL PROJECT

A one-half mile walking trail around campus, which includes a new entrance marker to the Ozark Campus, a water feature, landscaping, and benches for students, staff, and faculty and community members to connect with the Ozark Campus, improve their health and fitness, and provide opportunities for increased campus life. This project will also allow the campus to develop a base of community and business support.

History

As part of our strategic planning process, which began in February 2004 and was reinvigorated in fall 2007, the campus community identified a walking trail and campus beautification as two of its initiatives.
