Welcome to the Music Lab

The Music Lab is open to the entire Tech community, offering incredible digital music capabilities. Patrons can compose, print, playback, and record original music electronically; digitize analog recordings; develop aural skills through interactive programs; create marching band drills; edit and burn existing digital music; as well as listen to and watch multimedia titles. Usage of the Music Lab remains extensive, averaging 29,000 patron visits per academic year.

Monday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 11:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Saturday: 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Sunday: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Please Note: The Music Lab will be closed for the Winter Break starting 6pm, Tuesday, December 11 and will re-open 9am, Monday, January, 14.


DVD Collection

 The Music Lab DVD collection is located on the first floor of the Library and contains over 6000 titles! This growing collection includes a variety of DVDs, from comedies to documentaries. The titles are sorted by topic and displayed for library patrons to check out.

The Audio Lab is open to current ATU students, faculty, and staff. Here they can record their voice for podcasts or film narrations, record their piano or guitar playing, mix beats and pop songs, and post-produce pre-recorded audio files.
