ATU & The HIGHER LEARNING COMMISSION

Arkansas Tech University is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Tech has maintained continuous accreditation since 1930 and our last reaffirmation visit occurred during the 2010-2011 academic year. Our next reaffirmation visit will occur during the 2020-2021 academic year. Please check this site often for updates on our efforts.

The involvement of our entire campus community is important for a successful comprehensive review by HLC. Please follow the links to the left to explore the HLC, its Criteria for reaffirmation, and the process that will be followed. For more information about accreditation efforts, please contact Dr. Jeff Robertson, Dean of Natural and Health Sciences and the HLC 2020-2021 Chair, at jrobertson@atu.edu or Dr. Barbara Johnson, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Accreditation Liaison Officer at bjohnson@atu.edu.

This represents the final version of the Assurance Argument that has been submitted to the HLC system for review by visiting peer reviewers.

 FEEDBACK

The ATU Assurance Argument draft was available for all-campus review in two formats (Weave and PDF) from Aug. 24 - Sept. 7,  2020.  The final version of the ATU Assurance Argument is available to the left.

Campus constituents were able to offer feedback via the submission form below.  The suggestions received during the feedback period were incorporated as possible into the Assurance Argument.

We still welcome your comments and feedback as we await our reaffirmation visit.

Thank you!
