Department Description
Community Education is an extension of the College of Professional Studies. The primary audience for the Department of Professional Studies includes non-traditional students who have been out of school for some length of time, students who are transferring from community college, and/or changing majors. Our programs are completely online and attract students from a broad geographic area. The two majors are the Bachelor of Professional Studies and the Associate of Science in Early Childhood Education.
Position Description
- Requires computer skills utilizing the MS Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel
- Patience in assisting prospective students over the phone, using a good customer service communication style
- Filing and maintaining student folders
- Scheduling advising appointments
- Assisting students by email with regular communication, regarding enrollment and class schedules
- Maintaining ongoing office support

Remuneration
Monthly stipend divided over a 9 month contract
18 graduate credit hour waiver per academic year
