President Office Description

Position Description:

• Assists the office with clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, and general office duties
• Develops and assists with maintaining a social media presence for the Office of the President
• Creates web content, to include review/rework of existing web pages
• Supervises student employees
• Plans and implements special events
• Researches current trends and issues in higher education and related areas
• Exhibits professionalism in both appearance and manner at all times
• Maintains confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree preferred
• Admission as a degree seeking student in the Arkansas Tech University Graduate College
• Successful completion of a background check
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to form positive relationships with faculty/staff, alumnae, and community members
• Available to work occasional evenings and weekends

Remuneration:
Monthly stipend divided over a 12 month contract
18 graduate credit hour waiver (out-of-state portion wavied) per academic year
