FRATERNITY AND SORORITY LIFE

MISSION

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life assist our fraternity and sorority community in living out its shared values of scholarship, leadership, service, and unity. Members of these Greek lettered organizations will create life-long friendships while gaining an enriching and rewarding experience that is supportive of the academic mission of Arkansas Tech University.

VISION

Fraternity and Sorority Life at Arkansas Tech is dedicated to providing guidance and support to the fraternities and sororities on our campus. Our community offers a variety of fraternities and sororities with the hopes that everyone who wants to join an organization can find one that closely matches their values and personality.

Learning Outcomes

Arkansas Tech University is committed to providing an educational foundation for life-long learning to a diverse community. The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is just as committed to that mission. As a result of membership, fraternity and sorority members will:

• Identify and implement personal and organizational strategies that promote academic achievement.
• Develop leadership skills necessary for meaningful engagement in their community.
• Use creative thinking to create positive change within the ATU fraternal experience.
• Use personal and organizational values as a framework in their decision making process.
• Contribute to society through community service and philanthropic projects.
• Promote social justice, equity, and inclusion for all.
