Professional Development Opportunities

Transitioning to Teaching Online (T2TOL):  This course is completely online and is available to all active Arkansas Tech University faculty within their Blackboard course list.  T2TOL is designed to serve as an introduction, a refresher, and a continuing resource for faculty and instructors who use Blackboard, regardless of experience.  Each unit is assessed and requires an 80% score to proceed.

College of eTech Online Certification Course: This course is taught each semester by our Instructional Designers and Multimedia Coordinator.  It is a six-week hybrid class that includes three face-to-face meetings and three online meetings.  Faculty participants learn about best practices for teaching and learning online.  This course is also currently incentivized, with completers receiving $500 in their respective departmental budgets.  This money can be used to buy office supplies, assist with conference travel, purchase memberships and more.
