15: MLK Day of Remembrance and Community Service at 5:00 p.m. in the Hindsman Bell Tower and 5:30 p.m. at the Young Ballroom

There will be a campus march from the Bell Tower to Young Ballroom and a campus-wide service project at the Young Ballroom in honor of Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

18: Money, Money, Money Summit at 4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Doc Bryan 133

In partnership with Financial Aid and Student Accounts, DDI will host a financial literacy and resource summit. The purpose of this event is to provide intentional engagement between underrepresented student populations and the staffs of both offices. Students will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about their finances at Tech. Both offices will provide students with important dates, resources, and tips for financial student success.

1: Black History Month (On Track) at 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in Hindsman Bell Tower

DDI invites the entire campus to a 1-hour event celebrating the start of Black History Month. Participants will learn about the beginnings of Black History Month and hear the sounds of the United Voices of Praise.

18: Black History Month-Soul Food Sunday (On-Track) at 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in Young Ballroom

In partnership with several local churches, DDI will host a soul food lunch as part of Black History Month. Participants will learn more about the African American culture and the purpose behind soul food and Sunday dinner.
