The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems (IS) prepares students to design and implement business process systems, using programming, databases, web development, networking, and client-server processing. Information Systems is the art and science of using computation technology to serve commercial, governmental and industrial enterprises in an effective, efficient, and reliable fashion. The curriculum emphasizes learning computing technology together with business concepts so that students are ready for careers as application programmers/analysts in a business environment and for further graduate work in information systems after graduation.
