Bachelor of Science in Recreation & Park Administration - Interpretation

The Interpretation Emphasis prepares students to lead communications about nature, culture, and history related to parks, recreation areas, museums, or other organizations in which they work.  Students are required to minor in Anthropology, Biology, or History.

3Students must select from the following list of RP courses: RP 1993 Basic Forest Firefighting, RP 3023 Camp Administration, RP 3053 Natural Resource Management, RP 3133 Tourism Planning / HA 3113 Human Resource Management in Parks, Recreation, and Hospitality Administration , RP 3993 Wildland Fire Practices in Natural Resource Management, RP 4053 Water Resources Development, RP 4093 Resort and Club Management / HA 4093 Resort and Club Management, RP 4951 Undergraduate Research in Recreation and Park Administration, RP 4952 Undergraduate Research in Recreation and Park Administration, RP 4953 Undergraduate Research in Recreation and Park Administration, RP 4954 Undergraduate Research in Recreation and Park Administration, RP 4991 Special Problems, RP 4992 Special Problems, RP 4993 Special Problems.
4Internship must be completed in last semester after all coursework has been completed.
