“I am happy when I can convince my students that they are studying a most important subject, and not just a simple requirement they have to fulfill. I want them to realize that the acquisition of a new language is a serious matter: an enjoyable and amazing endeavor that requires discipline, an open mind, a sense of humor, and not being embarrassed when one makes a mistake.I always tell my students that when they learn a foreign language they learn more than the ability to speak that language; students learn about a community, it fosters development of self, and promotes awareness not only of other cultures, but of the very culture that we live in today. Learning a new language becomes one of the marks of intellectual prowess and an important lever to career effectiveness---it both broadens and preserves our cultural horizons.”

 

EDUCATION: Bachelors of Arts (E.S.L), Masters of Education, Masters of Science of Education, Master of Arts in Spanish.  Interests: Mrs. Joselin enjoys many activities which include reading, cooking, listening and dancing to Spanish Music with her husband J. Francisco . Also, Mrs. Joselin enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
