Forrest Anderson joined the English Department in the fall of 2009. His fiction has been published in a number of journals, including the South Carolina Review and Blackbird. His story "Hey Bubba" opens with the sentence: "The day our son walked across a field and disappeared into a swamp thick with cypress knees, wiregrass, yellow flies, and snakes, we considered ourselves good parents."
