Senior Honors and Student Research Symposium

The abstract submission deadline will be in February 22, 2013. Presentations at the Honors section of the Symposium do not require an abstract. However,
presentations at the Student section of the Symposium requires an abstract andthe abstracts should not exceed one page and should be submitted electronically to
mhemmati@atu.edu. Program schedule will be posted at a later date.

Annual Meeting of the Arkansas Academy of Science

The 97th annual meeting of the Arkansas Academy of Science will be hosted by Arkansas
Tech University. The meeting will be held in Hilton Hotel, Little Rock (925 South
University Avenue, 501-748-4707) on April 5-6, 2013. Meeting Registration deadline
and abstract submission deadline will be announced on the Academy's web site.

Call for Papers & Posters
Deadline: March 2013
Who: Students in all academic disciplines are invited to submit scholarly projects for paper or poster presentations. The general
public is invited to attend.
When: April 2013. 15 to 20 minute paper presentations will be made on Friday afternoon and Saturday. The Friday afternoon program will include a poster session.
How: Deadline for submission is March, 2013. Electronic submission is strongly recommended, and can be made by visiting the conference web-site at http://www.hsu.edu/dept/unr/.
Those unable to register electronically may request a paper version from the

Fees are $25 students and $25 per faculty mentor. This includes the conference program, banquet and speaker on Friday. Payment will be requested when you are notified that your abstract has been accepted. Abstracts will be printed in the conference program. Students desiring publication of full articles in the refereed proceedings journal should bring their completed papers to the meeting. All submission guidelines must be followed if a paper is to be considered for publication. Format and submission guidelines are available on the website.
