University Departments

University departments may use, with permission from Arkansas Tech University’s Licensing Coordinator, the Arkansas Tech University institution marks and the Arkansas Tech University trademarks designated as “Arkansas Tech University Athletic Marks” for:

Please review the Academic Visual Standards Manual and the Athletic Visual Standards Manual for more specific information regarding use guidelines.

The Arkansas Tech University marks may not be altered. University departments are required to use licensed manufacturers for all products bearing Arkansas Tech University marks.

University departments will not be subject to payment of the royalty fee as long as the proposed merchandise is for internal use. Merchandise produced to sell for fundraising events is subject to the royalty fee.

 

Non-Royalty Examples:

  1. A t-shirt design with “Arkansas Tech University Office of University Relations” to be worn by employees.
  2. A t-shirt design with “Arkansas Tech University Office of University Relations supports Wonder Boys Football” to be worn by employees.

 

Royalty Examples:

  1. A t-shirt design with only a licensed Arkansas Tech University licensed mark produced to sell for a fundraiser.
  2. A t-shirt design that incorporates any licensed Arkansas Tech University mark into the design produced to sell for a fundraiser.
