GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Praxis Series is a series of test that states use as part of their teacher certification process.

*If unsure of which test you need to take, do not ask University Testing.  Contact the Arkansas Department of Education (501) 682-4342 or (501) 682-4475.  Sometimes the State Department of Education changes its Praxis II requirements for different subject areas, and the only way for a client to find out for sure which test to take is to directly ask the State Department of Education.  A student at Arkansas Tech University may ask their Advisor what tests they need to take.

Computer-based Praxis testing is available for the Praxis I (PPST) test(s). The Praxis II tests are gradually being made available online.

Study Guides/Additional Information: Praxis “Tests at a Glance” and Registration are available online at www.ets.org/praxis.  Study guides and practice tests for the Praxis I and II tests can be found at Hastings and most other bookstores, as well as the Arkansas Tech Library.
